The Canary Islands located 1120 km south of mainland Spain, together with the Azores, Cape Verde and Madeira; they form what is known as Macronesia. One Myth that has lasted the test of time, is that the Islands were always referred to as a Garden of Eden or Alyssium, still attracting visitors from all over the world.
